Enemies

"Your Enemy is your best friend, only an enemy truly gives you the chance to become a better human being." This is very insightfull if you think about it. Only an enemy can give you an opportunity to act in a truly compassionate, patient, and understanding way. Its easy to be nice to friends because well, they're your friends. It is only interaction with an enemy that allows you to act in a totally selfless way. A way that is void of any sentimentality, dependance, or fond emotional ties. It is easier to forgive a friend or family member than someone you truly dislike or fear. Enemies give us a chance to truly test our mettle as human beings. Therefore thank your enemies, they can give you the key to growing into the person you want to be.
